Twin Pines Teacher Retreat (Strings)

This retreat is presented for private string teachers, public school instructors, and college professors. Master Teacher Theresa Ellis, BM, violinist and electric and MIDI fiddler, viola, guitar, mandolin; teacher and coach for over 35 years, and live performing artist. Lower strings clinic by New York Artist/cellist www.MarthaColby.com one day only. Please bring your instrument(s) to participate. Adults only.

Alternative style fiddling: dance music, rock, pop, movie music, country, jazz and improvisation. Professional points available.

Learn the secrets about alternative style music and adding it to existing string programs; gain experience so you will feel comfortable. Learn from industry pros. Also, how to use your string ensemble to make money, recruit new players, and get better performance and festival grades.

Bring the whole family to the beautiful upper Ogden Valley mountain resort area, and enjoy time with your family while you attend this retreat. Take a second vacation, and be together for more summer fun at Pineview Reservoir. Bike ride and hike on the nature paths, golf, go fishing or ride the mountain gondola to the top of Snowbasin resort and enjoy the views. Rent wave-runners, horseback riding and hot air balloon rides are also available.
