Theresa has always shared her music talents, wherever she lives. She has been in the Salt Lake area for over 20 years, and has lived for 2 years in Eden in the Ogden Valley. As a performer, producer and educator, now she has her own students helping to teach others and continue her legacy of producing fine violinists and fiddle players in this area.

Theresa hails from Detroit, migrated south to Nashville, Tennessee and has performed with many famous musicians over the past 30 years. In her career she played solo violin, fiddle, and played in string sectional recordings with Nashville Symphony and Utah Symphony members 1980 until the present. At the University of Utah she was involved with Electronic Music technology studies, and Electro-acoustic combinations with an emphasis in the use of Zeta MIDI Violin.

She is involved with Utah Arts Council as an Artist-in-Residence and listed with the Arts in Education Roster as a music educator teaching improvisation for children all ages, and working with special "at-risk" children and families since 2002. She has a string ensemble called STRING ZING! which can be a quartet or larger and they were guests and performers at the luncheon with His Holiness DALAI LAMA in Salt Lake City in 2001. They were also performers for the Australian Olympic Committee Opening Gala, and for the Honoring/Farewell Reception for MITT ROMNEY, which included guests such as the LDS church first presidency during the Winter Olympics 2002

Theresa with her husband Jim Anglesey (aka Jimmy Franklin) formed a pioneering musical group called ELLIS & FRANKLIN, which was an Electro-acoustic, contemporary world music, Celtic influenced instrumental five piece performing ensemble. This group was featured on many VIP performances in the Salt Lake area from 1989 until Jim's death in 2005. One notable performance was in 1992 for the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) 4 day convention. ELLIS & FRANKLIN played VIP parties were invited to perform during the historical speeches of President GEORGE BUSH and then candidate BILL CLINTON held in Salt Lake City

Her latest accomplishments in the Ogden area has been the fiddling Summer Strings Program with Weber State University this past summer, and Valley Elementary School Concert, where almost 50 new string players were in performance. She also performs locally with a folk/rock/dance band called "Shades of Grey".

Theresa and her late husband Jim adopted 2 special needs boys, they are 16 and 18. She continues to run the family corporation Lodestar Productions, write musical compositions and arrangements, and is a full time teacher.
