OGDEN VALLEY MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL

Time: 3:30 - 10:00 pm
Wilkerson Fine Art & Consulting has gathered
some of Northern Utah's finest artists and musical performers
for the festival. The festival will feature over 30 talented
artists, 2 local dance groups and a multitude of Singer/Songwriters.
Admission is free - donations appreciated to support this
event.
Place: Old Town Eden Art Gallery & High Altitude

THE WORLD BELOVED: A Bluegrass Mass

The Choral Arts Society of Utah with director Sterling
S. Poulson will premiere a new work in Utah by
Canadian Composer Carol Barnett. The choir and a bluegrass
ensemble (Theresa Ellis - fiddle, Rich
Dixon - guitar, Nate Keller -
banjo, Mike Ross - mandolin, Lars
Yorgason - bass) will combine to produce a unique
evening of entertainment. When he is not working at 2News,
Sterling is conducting as many as six concerts each year
with the 100 voice choir. Free admission. 8 PM Salt Lake
City.

Pladdogh - Celtic Rock Band

Pladdogh (or the Shades of Grey alter- ego) will meet at Layton
High School at 4 PM to compete in a contest! Come cheer them
on, the first prize is $1,000. They really need your support
on this one.
Players in Pladdogh are: Kaiser and Jill Wilhelm,
Kristi Thomas, Gary Kelso,
Frosty MacWilliams, D. Scott Williams,
Joe Clem and Theresa Ellis.

Located at 3105 West Pioneer Road in the beautiful village
of Marriott-Slaterville, only 25 minutes north-west of Salt
Lake City, The Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy
Faire will be enjoying its fourth year, May 8,9,
10, and 15, 16, 17, 2009 from 10 AM to 6:30 PM, at Millcreek
Hollow (the Moat). Singer Nancy DeMello heads
up a new renaissance Troupe of singers, dancers, actors and
instrumentalists to perform at this Festival. The gate opens
10 AM to 6:30 PM daily for patrons to truly enjoy the sights
and sounds. Performance times vary. HUZZAH!
