Lodestar lines up Music in the Air CONCERT
|

Three professional musicians -Theresa Ellis, violinist and fiddler, Georgia Barretto, Brazilian guitarist, and Martha Colby, a New York cellist, will grace the Ogden area communities with a concert of contemporary and international music renditions. The pieces will range from Americana and concert jazz to classical and Celtic, and include Portuguese singing and healing music. The concert will be held from 7:30-9:30 Friday November 19 at the Village Green dinner theater, 395 State Street, Clearfield, UT 84015.
The Nashville-style songwriter in-the-round format in the concert will highlight solo spots of each artist. They will then join together in combined ensembles to bridge together their string playing styles and elevate the total sum of their musical efforts. A unique mix of well known and original pieces will be highlighted.
All three artists encourage Music in the Air class students and their friends to attend - for free.

Brazilian Guitarist can be her own solo 'Trio'

Georgia Barretto will be finalizing the last class of the Fall
Children's and Adult Beginner Guitar Clinic Thursday November 18, as a combined class 6:30-8 PM. One of her private students Wyatt who is 10 years old will be featured that evening as part of the Masterclass. Parents, relatives and friends are invited to attend. Georgia will be available for private guitar lessons and will be taking a break to have her twin babies sometime the beginning of 2011.
